BQ2201SN Nonvolatile SRAM Control IC

BQ2201SN is a nonvolatile SRAM controller supplied in an 8-pin SOIC package. It provides power monitoring, backup supply switching, and write-protect control for standard CMOS SRAM. The controller monitors the main supply and forces the conditioned chip-enable output inactive when the supply moves outside the required range, protecting the external SRAM from writes. During a power failure, it switches the SRAM from the main supply to a backup source and keeps the memory protected until valid power returns. Engineers should match the complete device code, package, SRAM interface, backup arrangement, and surrounding control connections before replacement.
