BZT52C20-7 Surface Mount Shunt Regulation Diode

BZT52C20-7 provides a nominal 20 V Zener point for shunt regulation and voltage-clamp circuits. The device is rated for 500 mW power dissipation and is supplied in an SOD123 surface-mount package. It can be used on control, interface, or supply nodes where reverse breakdown near the specified voltage is required. Choose the series resistor to account for source voltage, load demand, and the current needed through the Zener diode. Check the resulting dissipation at normal input voltage and at the highest expected line condition.
