BZW04-13 Axial TVS Diode for Transient Protection
A short voltage surge can damage semiconductors before a slower protection device reacts. BZW04-13 is a unidirectional TVS diode built to shunt transient current, with a 12.8 V reverse standoff voltage and 400 W peak pulse power for a 10/1000 microsecond waveform.
At the specified pulse condition, the device has a 21.2 V maximum clamping voltage at 19 A. Its axial DO-15 package suits through-hole power and interface boards. Place the TVS across the protected line with a short, low-inductance path, and coordinate it with the source impedance and upstream protection.
Use it where the normal line voltage stays below the standoff rating and transient energy remains within the pulse limits. Request a quote for BZW04-13.
