The CAP1298-1-A4-TR actively manages up to eight separate capacitive touch sensor inputs for user interface designs. It utilizes a standard I2C or SMBus compliant serial communication interface for rapid system integration with a host microcontroller. The controller supports multiple operating power states, including a dedicated deep sleep mode that draws just 5 microamps of standby current. It arrives in a compact 16-pin QFN package and requires a 3.3V or 5V main power supply to operate.
